Re: quadra 52 still for sale
I guess if you want to be on top of the pile you can go out and spend $1000. or more for a motor to hang your plane up on a cload, but to anyone on a smaller budget, the Quadra is a cheeper way to fly large models. I have 2,(TWO) models flying with the Quadras, and both a 22 pound 1/4 scale cub, and a 16 pound bipe. I have no problem with either one,
As far as getting parts for any type of repair, B and B Specialties(1-574-277-0499) can have the parts, any part in the mail to you in a matter of days.... BUT, yes, I also have sent emails to Quadra Canada and also got no response.............. I have ordered parts from B and B, and recieved in short order. To me, I guess if you have a budget that lets you purchase a turbine a week or so, then tha Quadra is not your type of power, but, if you are like me and a lot of other modelers, I think the price for that Q52 is not a bad price...........
