I have a 60" WS electric sports glider that comes with a stock 380 motor direct driving a 7.5x4 folding propeller. The glider weights about 600 grams.

I want to fit in a Brushless motor, what kind of KV should I be looking at?? I want to stay direct drive (no gearbox).

Also I have a Align 400LF 2800KV motor and a Himax 2025 3700KV motor, do you think I can go direct drive with these motors?

Hello
Stay in range of 1350-1500 RPM/V for direct drive motors.
You could use Mega 16/15/6 or 16/15/7 with your prop 7.5x4 and 8 cells pack of NiMH.This will keep you in 8-12 A range.
