Routing 4 Stroke Exhaust

I am trying to re-route the exhaust from an OS 52FS. Facing the engine the exhaust header exits the block at 4 o'clock and I want to route it up and around the inverted motor to the 7 o'clock position where it will reconnect to the muffler and exhaust out the bottom. The reason is I don't want the muffler sticking out the side and ruining the somwehat scale appearance if this Unionville Hobbies Otter. Yes I know it is far from scale, but I like the looks!! The cowl is too small to turn the header pipe anyway but out the left side at a 45 degree angle - which looks dumb - to me!! I have tried some clear tubing which instantly melted - as I thought it would. Then I got some automotive PCV pipe and it lasted about 45 sec. before it blew out. I could buy the OS 12" flexible pipe at $50.00 but I'm too cheap!! I have some Aerotrend 3/8" ID silicone tubing (last of its kind appearantly as they are gone!) but it says on the package "Not for Four Strokes" so I hate to try it and blow it out as well. The ID I need is M10. I see MACS Products sells a flexible pipe but I can't fine the dimensions.
Does anyone know of a product that will resist the high temp of a 4 stroker exhaust but allow me to bend it about a 5"- 6" diameter and has a 3/8" ID?

Thanks

Exhaust pipe

I am an aircraft mechanic with over 50 yrs experience. I suggest low pressure aluminum A/C tubing. I personally can bend 3/8" od tubing, the radius is a little over 2". Look up the local homebuilt A/C group, they can usually bend all sorts of sizes of tubing. 3/8" od tubing is the common size for A/C fuel lines.
