GOLDBERG Sukhoi
Is anybody flying the new Goldberg Sukhoi with the undercarriage in the fuselage?I'm trying to find out if the new version landing gear is ok and not coming off as did the old version, even with good landings.

I researched this before I bought the kit. Apparently the new gear is much more durable (though I still plan some re-enforcements) that the wing setup. There has been a number of good experiences with this setup; haven't heard to many negatives.
This is my winter project so not built as yet but I always research beforehand. Bob

LG on older sukhoi
After reading several posts on the LG system failing on the older version, I beefed up the area for the LG plate in the wing. I've flown that plane quite a bit last summer with never a problem on the LG. Just make sure it is good and strong.

One other recommendation that I've read is to re-enforce the fuse behind the wing, right above and behind the wing bolt blocks.
This is going to be fun to build. Bob
