Does anyone know if VQ models are sold in Canada ?

I have owned a few VQ planes. Nobody in Canada really carries them.
You can order direct from either Hobby People (Calif) or Tomas at VQ Warbirds (Texas). They both ship to Canada by Parcel Post if you specify. Its cheaper than UPS or Fedex.
I have dealt with both and they are both good to deal with, although Hobby People usually put sales on which Tomas generally matches. Have never seen Tomas initiate a promo sale.
VQ does make some very interesting and unique models that are not commonly available. However and there is always a however, their planes tend to be a little heavy for the wing area due to the quality of wood they use and the printed vinyl covering which does not react well to the sun.
In addition the included spinner is useless cheap plastic that will melt on the first engine run so be prepared to replace it right from the start.
As you know a warbird with a high wing loading is always a joy to fly.
From personal experience I would NOT recommend the VQ Hurricane.
