Issue with radio calibration

Afternoon all!

Having an issue I'm hoping someone here can help me with. I have recently finished building a quad copter using hardware from 3d robotics. The issue I'm having is with the radio calibration. In mission planner, the calibration for the compass and accelerometer went just fine. However, when I try to calibrate the radio, moving the control sticks on the transmitter does not show up in the calibration screen. Nothing happens.

Hardware I'm using is a pixhawk with what I assume is the latest version of mission planner. The transmitter is a spektrum dx6i and the receiver is an AR600 that came with the transmitter. I am connecting the AR600 receiver to pixhawk via the 3 wire servo cable that came with pixhawk. Binding of the transmitter and receiver appears to have worked just fine. I have a solid LED on the receiver when I power the transmitter.

Any ideas?
