electric heli help

Hi, I just purchased what I think is a great deal, a nib eco 8 with many upgrades and a jeti phasor 30-3 brushless motor. I don't know much about these motors. What dose 30-3 mean ? also can I use any brushless controler or do I have to use one from jeti ? ALso anything else that would help. I am not new to the hobby been building for more years than I want to admit but the brushless thing is new to me.
Thanks for any help

I'm not intimately familiar with the heli or motor but I would imagine the 30 is diameter in mm and the 3 is for a 3-turn winding.

You can use several controllers.

Joe Bajkor has a heli like this and would be the best guy to answer questions on this config.

Actually, the 30 in 30-3 refers to the length of the magnets in the motor. There is also a 45-3 with is a longer version of the same motor.
