Does anybody like R/C helicopter here?
Helicopter is cheaper and easier. I am going to buy one soon, but still don't know which one should I buy.

Helicopters are not easy, do not know where you got that idea and if you crash alot, which you will while learning, they are not cheap either. You want easy, go with a plane.

I agree, Heli`s are difficult to fly (dependent on the model). If you are planning on getting into heli`s get a flight simmulator. Learn all you can from us here. Go to Rotary Wing forum and ask questions. Hit the Hobby store and grab a copy of Beginner RC Heli manual. If you need to buy a heli right now. I would go with at the E-Flite Cx2.

Remember Heli`s and planes are not toys to be dissrespected. SAFTEY is Number 1. Treat them like you would treat a chain saw.
They are alot of fun and can bring a life time of enjoyment.

Enjoy and good luck

Yes, I fly copters.
Some may be cheaper but they are not easier to fly. They are usually very expensive to repair.
You could try something like this which can be used as a great training tool. Like a larger copter it handles the same way and you'll crash it alot. It takes quite a beating, but the repair costs are negligible.

Re: Does anybody have a R/C helicopter?

I have an Esky CP2(Thanks again JimZee!!) and I am still in the tail in hovering stage. I can hover a few feet off the ground for almost a battery now.
The parts aren't too expensive,as long as you don't have to keep buying them for this one but it is not easier to fly than an airplane.
I did alot, and I mean alot of reading and research before I attempted to even get the heli light on it's skids.
Proper setup, concentration and patience are key to flying one of these things

Re: Does anybody have a R/C helicopter?

May I add that you should look at buying a heli that has parts support at your local hobby store. Research the heli you are looking at buying. Smaller heli's with crappy gyros will just tick you off. They can be difficult to fly and the durability blows. My first heli was a Venom Night ranger 2 and it REALLY sucked. The gyro was JUNK and the durability was crap. Remember this is just my opinion. I have herd good things on the Walkera though.

Re: Does anybody have a R/C helicopter?

That Walkera 4#3B is NOT a good trainer. Smaller helicopters are still twichy. Before you make any final decisions, talk to some heli pilots in your area. You are lucky to have the Toronto Helicopter club nearby. Check them out here... http://www.rcheli.ca/index.php

Lots of reading to learn more here... http://www.helifreak.com/
