Got two futaba S3305 servoes on the rudder or a GP SU-31. They are on a y harness, once i move rudder side to side it will lock up only when it turns to left. Just started to do this. changed reciever and all estensions and y harnes. now still doing the same thing. Anyone know whats happening. Than had engine running and was operationg all controles than they went retarded and locked up. ( alerons elevator etc). i cant figure this out.

Re: rudder servoes locking up? need help?

The 3305's are meant to run off nicads (something to do with them needing a high amp draw??).

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_17...tm.htm#1784631

you can google for more info on "futaba 3305" .

Were they working correctly before this "lockup" in the same application or is this the first time?

Re: rudder servoes locking up? need help?

What radio system are you using? Maybe something to do with fail safe settings??

Re: rudder servoes locking up? need help?

nah them servos are not gonna work, ordered some hitech ones this time they are not ment for cars lol. that will do the trick.
And its just the fasst 7 ch 2.4ghz but i changed radio and receiver and same thing. must be some difference in the car servos? if i move slow it never locks up, soon as i move fast on the sticks, it locks. but i got some more hitech servos coming.

Re: rudder servoes locking up? need help?

Still sounds like a failsafe problem. Have you tried changing batteries?
