AirSally on RCGroups has made a FG intake set for the E-flite hawk. Here is the link to his mod thread.

Oh i wish i would have seen that thread a bit sooner.
Thats awesome Buffy.
I just cut deperon pieces and shaped them to take the turtle deck out of the intake equation.and covered half of the swiss cheese on the bottom.
I thought it helped HUGE at least on the top end.
I was able to cut a rudder in,put retracts in and add a gyro on the nose/rudd and was going to put some flaps in but scraped that idea as it was already 4.2 pounds....yikes but still flew awesome(you've seen the vids).

I also just spot taped the thrust tube Cassat, worked till it went in

The retracts are these.....
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...nding-gear_set

They were not too hard, but still some work.
The nose pull/pull was the hardest part, and replacing the wood blocks used to mount the mains was a pain(broke first landing) but replaced with a harder wood.
If your flying off grass then i would take a little more time beefing up the area's around the mains.
Lipo's used were a 3600 turnigy 4cell,flightmax 5000 4cell,and a XPS 3200 5cell.

Mike
