Looking to bash in Oakville area

Looking to bash with others in the Oakville area (GTA). My 5 yo son has a Traxxas 4x4 Stampede and I have a 2wd Stampede. Other than Sids is there anywhere local where people just tend to show up? I am new to the hobby so would be great to connect with others.

Re: Looking to bash in Oakville area

I don't think there's much of a scene on the west end which is sad considering how many bike back trails we have. I'm in the Etobicoke/Mississauga lakeshore area and I can't find anyone around here to bash with. I'm going to start building some rc tracks around the area. Hopefully people will add on to it over the years and we might get a real scene around here. I did this with bike trails growing up and now those trails turned into monsters. I hope this works out the same.

There is always Sids I suppose and there are some BMX jumps near Clarkson GO station.

Yes there is a bmx track on Winston Churchill just north of royal Windsor (Clarkson park). pretty sick place to run. Also not sure what high parks had to offer. There is some good areas to run in there too.

Great pics. If there is enough interest we should get a few people together for a bashing session when the weather is nicer.

Re: Looking to bash in Oakville area

Down We should hit up a bike jumps somewhere. Or even a construction site. The city is building a mega bmx course for the pan am games in Centennial Park Just south of Eglinton on Mill Rd. East side about 300-500 ft south. It's still under construction but the track itself looks done. We should get a bashing session going there.
