just got back from the track and it was pretty messed up from some kids digging the table top out and wrecking some more of the track, i think we should put up some no tresspassing signs or something cause that just cost me and phil about 2and a half to 3 hours of work to get it so it could be run again, hopefully our pres can get some signs or some ideas about how to keep kids from wrecking the track, just glad they were not there when we got there, just so everyone knows to keep a look out

Signage is definately needed, I hate to see all your hard work go to chit.
I'd also put the $5 useage fee on the sign as well.

Holy thread hijack.
Ummm, I don't think you need to go any faster.
Picco .26 Maxx is technically a mid block.
If your thinking true BB, then go Qoncepts mount, RR gears in the tranny.

Your really itching to improve lap times & beat the truggies eh.

I stopped by on my way out to Keene tonight (just after 4PM) and when I pulled up I was out of the van door before it had come to a stop.
kids ridding bikes, 2 digging. One at the table top and the other on the 5 whoops section.
I used a great deal of four letter words and told them to get out of thier.
(I did get pics of them as they were leaving, but for legal reasons I do not think I should post them)

BUT what got me most was the one kid, he said his friends told him about the track and that it was "tottaly cool to go up and ride and make changes."

Then on my way home (just before 9PM) I stopped in again.
The roller is now busted. Shovels and rakes skattered about the track wheelbarrow full of dirt. The O pipe used on most of the track moved in many places, new jumps to get over the burns.

I was again real PISSED OFF! But no one to yell at this time.

Right now, the track looks so ruff.... it's a real shame. All the hard work that was put into the track. To me it looks like a good full day of work to fix it.

Maybe if we could somehow get the tools locked away it might help??

speed_racer.. .I am sorry. I called your place of bussiness just after 4PM and left a messege on the machine. (mixing bussiness with a hobby) I did not know what else to do. Or who to call.

The kids are local to the area of the track. Just yelling at them is NOT going to put a end to this problem.

I'm not sure if the signs will work if nobody is around to enforce.Maybe a chainlink fence with wire along the top to keep them from crawling over.
