Source for decals- roundels

I am going to be painting my F-15 like the one in this pic. I'd like to put CDN roundels on it where the Japanese circle is. Where does everyone get their decals from?
Thanks

Re: Source for decals- roundels

I used this Canadian company for the graphics for my Lancaster. A search for Roundel got this

OR;
You could drive to Trenton to ask Dale if he would make you up a set.

Dale does this? I had no idea LOL. I randomly stopped in there a few weeks ago...I was actually surprised his store was still running...I had no idea! Was a nice surprise!

Re: Source for decals- roundels

Yes he does.

He bought a Vinyl Cutter several years ago and has been doing custom work ever since.

Re: Source for decals- roundels

The old days of cut vinyl, with layer upon layer are fading into pre-history. Current method would be to print the decal file on one layer and cut that. Then just stick it in place and squeegee to lay down flat without air bubbles underneath, as we do with window signs.

In the example pics, we did just that. We printed the electronic file on one sheet of substrate and attached it to the backing. Fast, easy, simple and done.

Did the same thing to put ID insignia on our 6 club trainers.

No need to go running all over the universe for that. Pretty much any sign shop is equipped for that simple job.
