Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Nice morning videos, with the first coffee.

Arlene was somewhat surprised, I show little interest in flying this week-end. The 5 days of flying last week-end (almost) filled me up. (he-he)

Fabricating my dual tank mounts this morning for SukTwo. Going to try a series set-up.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Speed !

(Ha-ha)

I imagine love of the hobby. Labour means nothing, as this is enjoyable. As the tanks get bigger I worry about the restraints. Also the shape, (long) the clunk is out of the fuel so much more near the lower levels.

Try something a little new.

So many more locations to leak.

Cool factor.

And it has been two days since I asked. No one talked me out of it. NO, negative response.

You Donkeys. I just glued in the tank mount!
Then spent my 20 minutes to reply.

Geez (sigh).

Yes Bradley.
Jack has commented before on how I keep it simple, and the reliability is there on my assemblies.

I drove home from 5 days of flying. Felt great, all my stuff worked/showed as expected.
One throttle servo acted up (46% Ultimate). Hit the ignition kill, quick flip hard to the field, landed prop stopped. Walked over, drug it back. Never said a thing (as most yell, etc.). Only one guy asked why the prop stopped. So cowl off this coming week, I expect a servo replacement. The linkage looks solid, and the servo responds back in the pits.
