I've got one plane here that I want to share with a couple of the clubs here in my area once I can get all the parts together.
Just my way of thanking those that helped me get back into the hobby.

Does MAAC offer anything like AMA's T.A.G. program?

Anyone in BC that wants a chance to fly, send me a message. I'll drive a reasonable distance or try my hardest to set you up with someone in your area!

Re: Give RC flying a free try

I am from Clifford and would love some lessons. The closest flying club I know is Kitchener-Waterloo, which is an hour away, and for $250 I can't see it being worth it. Since i wont be able to get there often enough.
Does anyone know of anyone or any club close that I could get lessons from?

Re: Give RC flying a free try

I'm new to actually taking planes out and flying them. I've been in the background reading about other people's experiences... and I'm especially interested in FPV flying. So my goal is to first master the flying part with some relatively inexpensive "trainer" planes (Easy Star).

I've tried flying one Easy Star, but really need some help from someone never Cloverdale, BC who has enough experience to guide me so I don't go through too many replacement parts
