It would be interesting to see if you guys still remember your very first RC model being it 2 channel, 3 channel or basic 4 channel model.
No Control lines or free flight models, has to be Rc model.

Well i'll start with mine, my very first RC model was back in late 80's, it was

Cox EZ Bee II

Here is U tube of similar model. Wish i could find another one just to have it for personal memories...hated that .049 engine on that plane!...

Re: What was your very first RC Model?

First for me was a SIG Cavalier, with an Irvine 46.
Brings a little tear to me eye just thinking of it...

Re: What was your very first RC Model?

Century Hawk II with a TT36. At least it was a very good impression of a Hawk II. Bought it in pieces; a lot of pieces. Had to wade through piles of parts to select the best/right ones. Turns out I had enough parts to build 2 complete airframes, and still have extras. Came with a JR XF622 IIRC.....

Yup, it was my very first real RC.

Haven't looked back since! Gotta love RC's

Re: What was your very first RC Model?

Goldberg Gentle Lady for me. I converted it to power with a Cox 049, then an 09. Taught me how to fly with ease.

Re: What was your very first RC Model?

Carl Goldberg Skylane42, Cox Sanwa 2 Ch radio, Cox Golden Bee .049
It flew free flight may times till we bought a remote. The radio was a Godsend which allowed it to land back in the same field.

Re: What was your very first RC Model?

Not sure if it was the first one or not but might have been the Ken Willard Top Dawg with Otarion rcvr and a relay with an brass arm soldered to it for an actuator as Galloping ghost. OS Pet up front for power which I still have. Other might have been the Debolt Trainer on reeds and rudder only. This was around 62 or 3
