I had a older gentleman (about my age !) contact me wanting to sell some old control planes & engines. I am not interested in the planes, but the older engines intrigued me, I did drop by his residence to view the planes but decided against buying them.
The engines are a Hurricane & a McCoy approximately 29 to 35 size ?, probably dating back to the 40's or 50's . They are not seized & turned over easily with compression.
The planes are not worth much, if anything. There was a 3rd plane, but it is just a Cox 70's plastic Polecat ? with a 1/2 A. He did talk of $200 for the lot, but I am sure that is negotiable..
He is not on the web so I thought I would throw this out there for him.
If there is any interest, let me know & I will get the info to contact him.

There are always engine collectors looking for stuff like that.

I would suggest a post in the FOR SALE section for engines and you would probably have better luck finding someone who wants them
