OK, so I had a shock cap pop off and the oil spilled onto one of my favourite T-shirts.

How do I get the stain out?

(I tried Spray N' wash dual power and it didn't even touch it....)

FYI, the oil was Associated 30wt silicone, LOL!

Murphy’s Oil

Try Murphy’s Oil.

Usually used as a furniture polish, but this stuff is great for stains – particularly hydrocarbons.

A little right on the spot, give it a rub and throw it in the machine with your usual detergent. Works wonders.

Hope this helps!

May sound stupid, but try using a can of coke in the wash.

I have yet to need this "trick", but I have been told that it works with oil stained rags, etc.

This would be why i rarely work on r/c's in my own clothes. In the evenings I just keep on wearing my work uniform (all black). However on weekends if I know ill be downstairs working on them, I just grab whatever shirt I dont really care about.

If the shirt is newer and replaceable, just buy a new one. But being that its a fav, probably not.

Good luck with the stain
