May not stick? Why?

I've used Lustrekote. PerfectPaint, BlackBaron, Krylon, Tremclad and now Latex. No issues with any of the above (except BlackBaron, but that wasn't the fault of the covering ).

If you're trying for scale, you should get some pics of the original, if you're trying for "scale-like", I guess it's your preference but the "real" one's I've had the pleasure of seeing up close were all filled..... not my preference, I like to see some weave.

That's all I've been doing Jim, looking for pictures. I keep changing my mind though
This is my favourite so far, for visibility and appearance and I guess if I open my eyes, there is no weave visible.

From what i can tell of the WACO's is they're fabric aft of the rear cockpit. The cockpit area looks to be aluminium sheeting, so you're both right.

Chris

I can't do the super-sized, in yer face picture posting so look closely.

My apology's, I usually save the picture then post it, I had no control of the image size by pointing to it

It is official, everyone really likes the scheme posted, paint has been ordered (email sent) going for the candy coating

Very nice, worhty subject.

That gap between the cowl and fuselage reveals a lot of detail ...

I've got the base white on and I'm working on markings ... a white aircraft is pretty uninteresting.
