Yee-Haa! +1C and sunny with a 15 to 20k winds flying today at the club!

Its been ages since I've gotten nice weather good enough to fly this winter on a weekend!

I flew my Phase 3 F-16 it handles any wind no problem - I also has some new 70C batteries I wanted to try out! My older batteries get real warm on this model and thought the new high-C batteries would be a big improvement!

Man what a difference they made the batteries were completely cool when I pulled them out today and you could see a mark improvement with the vertical climb - but any new batteries would of help with that.

I normally get 4min flight with old packs but the new ones might get me 5 I bet

Only problem with the F-16 with winter flying is it fills up with snow on landings lol

Where is the F16 with stripes ? it's yours..
No flying I'm going snow shoes with the dogs.
I airbrush acrylic primer on the Yak , not to smelly ,I m using the big Rigid dust buster to remove as much dust as possible..For smell I have very good Lavender spray from France ......

It the back-up model! It can wait till things melt - Just got a E-flite amp-guage so will see how the new batteries work with new fan/motor/esc

Looking to up the fun at FAN-FAIR with the Mass-Launch Camera plane!

Yes I hope to capture the fun of flying along with a bunch of foam EDF jets!

The Mobeus HD Movie Camera is very small but just right for my Polaris XL - With the motor in the rear the camera got a clear view.

I hope to get out soon and get some test movies - wish me luck!

Ken, since this post is over 20 pages, how about starting a fresh post for this years event so it'll be easier to see who intends to attend and what will be brought.
