Hey all,

I have a buddies tmaxx here that he dropped off for me to fix, He smashed it into a tree at high speed and broke a bunch of suspension parts in the front.

Its all replaced but there is another problem. Im pretty sure its in the tranny.

When I start the truck it starts and runs fine, the motor that is.. but when I give it throttle both in forward and reverse it just sits there and sometimes jumps, the spur gear spins but the truck wont move, is that inside the tranny do you think?

any ideas or fixes???

thanks in advance

Corey

the engine could be out of line with the tranny or the drive gears could be hosed... thiers lots of differnt reasons why it couldnt be moving .. the servo that puts it in drive and revers could be out of place and not setting the gears

If you are running the engine really rich, you might not be getting sufficient RPM to engage the transmission. Try leaning the engine a bit and try it again.
