Another what is it??
I just got this plane and had to pull all the obsolite stuff out of it and reglue everything.
It has a aluminum channel fuse, Down spout front fuse and doesnt like to take off. I hand launched it after the scary taxi with the tail skid. Once in the air it flies very well. Just like to know what it is... Oh and yes the firewall is held on by elastics.

Sturdy Birdy II
Hi...yours is the sturdy birdy II. The presence of the ailerons makes it the II.
Here is the link and manual... http://www.hobbico.com/discontinued/hcaa1010.html It is originally a knock off of the Duraplane II made by Duracraft, it does have a bit larger wingspan though. Then, somewhere along the line Hobbico bought out Duracraft, and they had both lines going for a while. Now, Hobbico just has the Duraplanes. The way to tell the two apart......Duraplanes have the firewall screwed on, and the end of the fuse is square, Birdy has the firewall attached by elastic, and have the tapered fuse end, as seen in the pics. Hope this helps...
