Re: Jr 9303
I think you have to send it back to Horizon Hobby to be serviced. Antenna replacement is free from them, but expect to lose your radio for a few weeks. I just got my DX7 back from them for the same thing.

Re: Jr 9303
I just bought this antenna and installed it in a few minutes.
http://www.readyheli.com/EFLB1058_Tr...p/eflh1058.htm I recall there may have been a spacer in the 9303 you need to re-use. |

Re: Jr 9303
I broke my antenna on my x9303, I ordered the above mentioned antenna from Great hobbies for BCX2 heli transmitter, slight difference in the antenna, it was loose fitting and over rotates once installed. I tried all combinations of the parts that attach either antenna, it's not perfect. I have read that others have had no problems and it worked fine, but not for me. Now I am unable to link/bind any of my previously bound recievers and I tried re-binding with no luck. I am sending it to Horizon. I have heard/read that many have had many positive experiences with Horizon's service and support.
Happy Flying

Re: Jr 9303
Well, when I called Horizon they told me that's the antenna they use to fix the DX7 / 9303, etc... worked fine for me. What can I say? It did take a few minutes to get it to seat right and to figure out that I had to retain 1 part from the old assembly.
As for inability to link/bind, that would be a connection issue with the transmitter board (or other radio issues due to being dropped?), a loose antenna mating to the case would not affect that. Last edited by marcham; 12-29-2009 at 12:35 AM. |
