Hi,

Does anyone know what allen key size I need for the grub screw that secures the flybar? I somehow lost the allen key and now I can't seem to find which size it is anywhere. It seems smaller then all the others allen key slots on the heli... Thanks.

On my 250, some screws are Hex, size H1. Most of the screws are Torx. Not sure about the head since mine is FBL but has H1 screws on it also.

I believe the grub screws are all 1.5mm aren't they?

Re: Hex size for trex 450 v2

Hmm, I just realized that the head isn't stock, I think its a clone head that I changed out. Haven't been into the hobby for a few years and now I've forgotten everything. Any chance the clone size is different? Maybe my best option is just ordering in a set of different sized tool. I've been looking at some on ready heli that go from .7 to 3mm.

Don't think you will find many 1.5MM on a 250. But you are right for the 450 size heli.

Hmmm... well I guess it's a good thing he has a 450 then... take a look at the title of the thread "450 v2"

Not sure where you got the idea it was a 250...

Re: Hex size for trex 450 v2

for the 450 sized helis you will need a 1.5mm, 2.0mm and a 2.5mm Hex for sure. A small Phillips for servo arms and a pair of needle nose should be all you need I think.
