Sounds great, but won't the track be full of water?

This track drains very well. There is never any standing water after it rains. Dries up very quick. I take it you have never been here before?

It is supposed to be sunny this weekend, the track might even have to be watered

Never been, but I think I'll make it down this weekend as I'd love to come run the track for a bit.

track

You will not be dissapointed, the track is always awesome with lots of grip and a very challenging layout. Jay, Joe and Molly always put out a great track and great atmosphere here.

That sounds great! I'll call Sunday morning and inquire concerning the track conditions.

By the way, I was wondering if you guys integrate electric 1/8 buggies into your racing schedules and mains. If so, you can count me in for next season

I'll be there, probably burning off the last of the 2009 fuel I have with an RB that is leaking from the carb boot.

Does anyone know a quick and temporary fix for that? I can basically drive around the track without applying any throttle.

Im going to try and make it out tomorrow also!

John; you can use some RTV gasket sealant (Permatex - Ultra Copper/Blue or Red) on the area(s) where the carb boot is damaged or you can tie-wrap a small balloon over the boot, but if you use the sealant make sure the surface is cleaned first. Methanol Hydrate is awesome for cleaning fuel and dirt off the engine and safe on the plastics and rubber. You can pick up both of them for around 20bux at Canadian Tire.

Luckily I have both already. I'm sure I can get it going tomorrow. As always, thanks for the pointers, Calvin.
