Good Day

I asked about afield box in the fixed wing section mainly for glo planes.

I'm also an electric guy, to the field i currently bring

small screw driver set
Clear tape
extra battereies
spare propeller (I count how many times breaking a prop has cut short a flying sessions when the rest of the aircraft survived or just needs some tape)
12Volt battery charger that plugs into my truck
Spare wing attachment hardware, elstaic bands or screws

what do you guys/girls bring with you

Re: Field Accessories for electric flight

I've got a small container filled with odd screws, nuts and washers. I have used them occasionally, and helped out people as well. What about some foam safe glue, and some foam safe kicker. It can be used on foam and balsa. I know some guys carry around 5 minute epoxy, I don't. I figure if I need that much glue, I'll call it a day. Take care, Daren

Re: Field Accessories for electric flight

generally take half a dozen batteries...charger ( hooked to station in the back of my pickup...
and a transmitter...
If I go for the weekend, I take a fairly comprehensive set of tools
amp meter, spare charger, thumb drills, assortment of pliers, allen keys, propane soldering iron, pretty much enough to do a complete overhaul of any of my models....

Re: Field Accessories for electric flight

..bring what you'll need...and you will not know what you need until you have spent some time flying electrics...lots of props for one thing...many more sizes than when flying glow as prop changing can make all the differance with electrics.

And when you want to bring all those small parts to the field....this is a good way to do it..!
