I crashed the hell out of my quadcopter

Hey guys so I built a quadcopter recently, by slapping parts together and doing barely any reading on the subject, which resulted in me mounting my flight controller upside down. I recorded my first few attempts to get it flying. Here is a video.

Obviously I got that fixed now and tried to fly it outside but it wobbles a bit so I need to tune it a bit more. I will make a new video once that is done.

Hahaha incorrectly mounted flight controllers result in what I call the "Tazmanian Devil Effect"

Re: I crashed the hell out of my quadcopter

HA HA.. Seen that happen to a friend this last weekend. He swapped the controller board.
Old board was diamond oriented with forward arrow at the tip of the diamond.

After several "tasmanian devil" flights, I noticed the new controller board had an arrow in the center of one side of the controller, so that the flat side of the board would have to face forward. He had it attached in the diamond-forward orientation. WHAAATTTT???? After he re-aligned the board, quad flew perfect...LOL

Hahaha! nice!

Really, it's always good to keep records of how you start, after a while you will go back and will be happy about the progress you've made.

What parts are you using? what flight controller, frame, motors?

Don't forget to update us with a video of it flying nicely.
