Hmm... let's see... 1/4 scale... that works out to be 72' 6" or 870". How about it Jim? Lots of wing area to carry scale details!!

Tongue planted firmly in cheek!

Sorkai,

AN-225 has been done as electric aircraft model with full foam construction with Buran shuttle on top of it some where, i have seen it flying and on ground on one of the rc sites last year.

Here you go....

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473014

Actually they have fuselage made for second AN-225, its preserved in the hanger at the building plant of Antonov facility, they diden't figured at the time while building first AN-225 that there would be any demand for second giant of this massive sized aircraft. Don't forget primary use for this aircraft was to "piggy back" Buran from one part of country to other, similar concept as NASA's shuttle carrier B747s AC905 and AC911....

Regards,
Sammy

I was inside it at one of the airshows...was working airside and got to go up in the cockpit. Behind the flight deck along the spine ia a hallway with rooms on both sides for the crew to sleep...looked like a bunkhouse...!
As I recall, the climb up to front office was via a very rickety ladder...
