[Merciful]

I just bought my son a team losi mini baja for his birthday. It comes with a losi 7.2V 1100NiMH battery and I also bought a venom 7.2V 1200NiMH. I charged both batteries up on my "Prophet Sport" peak detection charger, the 1100 at 2 amps and then the 1200 at 1 amp just too see if it made a difference in the performance or life of either of the batteries.

The first run on the 1100 resulted in a whopping 4 minute run time and the 1200 gave us about 3 1/2 min before it slowed and died as well. WTF? I'm pretty confident with my charger as both batteries just got a little warm before the charger peaked and switched to trickle charge,so I really don't think that has anything to do with it.

I ran it on pavement with a little time on hard pack dirt,but nothing that should have bogged it down and killed the run time. It also needed a little shove to get it going whenever it came to a complete stop but then seemed to have good power until you stopped again and had to do the same thing.

i'd like to know what kind of run times other people are getting with their mini baja or if they had similar problems with theirs before I take it back to the store I bought it from as I feel it should have performed much better than it has.
