OMP 47" Profile Edge 540 Build
Hi guys, not really a build thread but some pics of my progress. These build fast, working at it for about two weeks here and there.....and I have an airframe ready to cover.
 :Equipment: HS 225 MG on all surfaces HS81 throttle OS .46 FX

Well it flies!! There really was no doubt....That OS 55 is a real power house for this airframe, wow! The hovers are effortless. It was really windy out today, probably 50 km gust anyways, so I thought I would just get it out to put some fuel thru the new engine, so I put one tank thru it and then let it sit for a few minutes well I walked around and did a range check, on the new AR 600 receiver. No problems with the thorough range check, then I fueled it up again to run another tank thru it, well I fired it up and thought
 ....aw what the heck ...so I let er rip into the sky! A couple clicks of up elevator and left aileron, and it flew great, a couple of go arounds because of the wind, but it harriered in like a parachute. Love it so far!

Looks pretty good. Did you happen to check the weight? Curious to see how it would compare to the Mojo or Primo. What prop are you running? I am running an APC 13x4 on my Mojo with the 55ax and that seems to be a very powerfull combo. I had alsao tried an APC 12x4 and an APC 12.25 x 3.75 but did not like them as much as the 13x4.
What other gear do you have in it?

Hi Travis, thanks for the compliment, I think I listed the equipment in the first post,except I'm using a HS85bb on throttle now and not a 46 anymore, but I'm using a 13x4 APC prop also on the 55, I also havn't weighed it yet but I will I'm curious too.
John I don't think Ohio Model Products is selling kits anymore just ARFs, if you keep your eye open they come up FS once in a while, but Swaney House sells a whole line up of awesome profile kits, the most popular being the Mojo 40, which is just like this plane I built basically. Give them a look. Cheers guys

My covering on the Mojo is very simple , just gonna beat it up anyways. I may maiden it Sunday. Ron
