ls this the case were talking about ? Its listed in the on-line
shopping at $29.95 with foam and dividers, not bad.
To view it go to the Can tire on line site , click on automotive,
then type tool case into the search.

Went to CT and grabbed one of the cases today and it's
just as mentioned earlier, sturdy case, lots of room and foam,
adjustable dividers, lock&keys, carrying strap, inside panel
for tools. For $29 bucks l was pleasantly surprised.
Worthwhile checking out guys, there in the tool box area.

Hi Dave,

I took off the flap thing so that only sponge hit the sticks. A buddy at our field, put the flap behind the foam and sticks his transmitter books there.

Just some ideas

That's a good idea Nuker l wondered about that panel, when l
closed the top the flap didn't seem to hit my TX sticks but you would
want the foam supporting the TX. l will move it and the idea of putting
manuals for any device there is a good one.

Another thing is that when you cut the foam out, the transmitter rests on the case. I put a piece of carpet underpad cut 1" outside the shape of the hole to give a bit more protection. You can use some regular thin foam or even bubble wrap etc etc.

l cut a slice about an inch thick from the cut out and put back in.
Seems to stay in place, if not a bit of double sided tape will do it.
Pretty darn nice case for the price eh Nuker
l couldn't believe it was a metal casing. l saw another one on
a RC site for more $ but plastic. l'm happy with it

I think that is where I got my case from. My case came completly filled with foam. I just cut out a little box for the tx's and left some of the foam in. On the lid, it has a sheet of that textured bumpy foam.
