Well Sig did another boo, boo. I am doing the ailerons on a 4 star 40, cutting in the angles on the leading edge and rounding the rear edge. The phone rang and after answering I was going back to work and the ailerons did not look equal so I set them up and one was approx. 3/16 wider than the other at one end (these are tapered type) so I laid them on the plan and one was wider at the thick end and one was a tad narrow at the same end so in frustration I just sanded them equal. After all it is not a 3D plane. But I think they do not have quality control anymore, along with lessor grade of balsa. I read about others having problems with Sig kits, but I will still buy them just to put in the winter months.
