Just picked up a berg6 G3 receiver and i am wondering if i can use my futaba crystal in this receiver?.I plugged it in but it doesnt seem to be reading it.It there anything else that has to be done in order to switch from positive to negative shift or does this RX do that automatically?.I got it used so i have no manual.I beleive they work on both JR and Futaba radios and the previous owner had a JR radio.MY radio is a 9chp..Thanx in advance for any help

Check to see if the crystal you have is for either a dual conversion or a single conversion RX. The GWS crystals work great in the berg receivers as they are single conversion. As far as getting a Futaba crystal servo to work, i don't think you'll be able to make it work but i've been wrong before. Maybe some of the other guys here with the Berg's could chime in.

Futaba Crystal will not work with Berg, As clearly stated in the above post with a PICTURE.

Once you have the right crystal in it, the Receiver automatically senses the shift in the first few seconds and locks itself in for that shift, almost transparent to the user. It does that, everytime its powered on and is receiving a valid signal from the same frequency Transmitter.
