Re: Real Flight adaptor
Loads of space inside 'battery compartment' since there an no batteries.
Simple two wire trainer port in. Extra holes in the front normally used for reversing switches (4), crystal and power switch. I think newer versions use the crystal socket for a reset switch.

Re: Real Flight adaptor
kobiconn makes a four pin camera lens to auto iris connector that is almost the same. Haven't found a six pin.
Futaba may have it custom made, they're a huge corporation and you probably have subsystems made by them in your car's dashboard.

My computerized Multiplex Royal has the 7 pin receptacle. My Mutiplex 30 30 has the 7 pin receptacle. It seems that all the computerized versions have the 7 pin receptacle and the non computerized have the 5 pin receptacle. Thanks |

Re: Real Flight adaptor
Multiplex: please re-read my post #12 re two 'extra' pins, they are for copying the radio memory
Airtronics/Sanwa: Quote:
It would seem it doesn't work, but they just may have not wanted to make a special cable. From then lovely photo you sent me Ken, I would guess the functions of the four wire to me GND, power, signal in, signal out. to be sure I would use a multmeter and a scope.

Re: Real Flight adaptor
Determining wire function:
with radio off determine GND using an ohmmeter to battery connector (I would suspect black) with radio off determine power using an ohmmeter to power switch (probably) (I would suspect red) with radio on determine signal out with a scope remaining wire could be signal in or to turn radio on remotely, I would need to noodle this.

1 old non computer - 5 pins on both ends 1 old computerized - 5 pins on one end, 3 pins on other end. Obviously as Moo stated the extra pins have a different function. |
