This is my little 40" jet wanna-be Its got swept wings and a fake jet intake and exhaust cone too. Model wings swept and are thin and have a very sharp leading edge. I use a E-flight 15 - phoninx 65 and 2100 3s lipo's.

I put a shark-mouth on it and it looks so mean/angry now!

What should I call this model Shark-Fire or Fire-Shark?

Design concept is based on Fighter Pilot Target Drones designed by Ryan in 50 and 60's

Between the 2 choices- Fire Shark. For sure.

BTW, a sweet looking little airplane. Does it fly well? Are you going to kit it or offer plans?

Fantastic flyer! "Fire Shark"

Iam still tweaking the design of the "Fire Shark" I want to change a few things in the next version to make it easier for the builder to have better access to the motor etc. Iam think the design needs a nose cowl vice a built up nose. Also I might try E-flight 25 motor for more speed.

As far as how this model fly's all I can say is WoW!! The model fly's great - it easily launches with an overhand baseball throw. At full power it really moves fly's like its on rails. The other fun of flying this model is it loves to thermal it loves finding lift. The glide for landings are very smooth and level and does require you to plan you approch for a long glide in. I have flap/ailerons hooked up with mixing have yet to try them.

I think I'll build another with my modifications that I want to do - If I do I'll post photo's of the build. I get my parts from http://welasercut.com so in future you would be able to get your Fire Shark from Peter Richards.

Video avail to view on Calmdays.com

A friend of mine shot some video of the model on a very windy day but the model cuts easily through it! The name Shark-E is starting to sound better for this little hotdog!
