Cool place and fun layouts. The people are nice also. Prepare for a long day though. They run any and all electric classes, from mini's to 1/8 buggies and truggies. Makes for alot of heats, and the raceday will probably end somewhere around midnight. I believe they have onsite food, I don't remember.

If the long day sounds to much, you could try factory tracks raceway.
Excellent place, very nice layouts, and great competition.

Or if you are near the sarnia port huron area there is a new motocross dome also with rc racing. I think they get mostly 1/8 buggies for turnouts, not sure about their electric turnouts. From what I hear the temp is decent but bring a jacket, and also some ear plugs if you think the bikes running will bother you.

Guess I can't post links. But you can find their websites by googling factory tracks raceway, and also extreme sports dome, port huron.

So Al Horne's place is still going. Do Bill Bridges and Chuck Berg race electric ? I thought Chuck sold most of his batteries and chargers.

jbrow1 you still racing a RC8 with the 808 tank.

Yep I still run the rc8 with 808 tank. I ended up moving the rear mount about 1/4" forward so it mounts better and keeps it farther from the clutchbell bolt while chassis flexing. Excellent tank.

I've not seen Chuck or Ed since the summer. I thought they've been racing in Ohio.

I don't know about Chuck selling his electric stuff. Might have been because he is now running for losi, so he probably unloaded all his ae stuff.

Chuck sold orion batteries and chargers. Plus more stuff. No buggies or anything.

It's to bad Chuck switched to Losi. Tilts the scale for losi in the area even more. If I'm not mistaken.

Talking Darn tootin...

It's our "Home Track" in the winter.

It would be easier to find it via Yahoo / Google with the speeling "Washtenaw RC Raceway" in Ann Arbor, Mi.

Track link for info is here: rcproductdesigns.com/washtenaw_track

All the 2008-2009 A-Mains are here: handyracing.com/Racing_Action

(you will have to add the www as I can't post links yet)

Plus a few other local races from this past summer.

Thanks for posting our video.
