I've heard Comp-Arf picked up their finish quality the last few years. Now we all know it's true.

Very nice Trevor, you will enjoy!!

After having a taste of 3D again with my ex-43%, I've decided to put a DA100L in this CompArf and get it flying in the next couple of weeks.

The plan is to go back to the original plan and do a BBT Custom Carden Yak with the Moki 150!!

I'll change the build title soon!!!

Actually, this thread has changed so many times, I don't even know myself what we're doing.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm - Moderator???? (ScaleGuy, aka DA kid)...

Can you please delete this thread and I'll start over with a new thread for the CompArf Yak / DA100L???

Re: BBT 2.6m CompArf Yak55 / MOKI 150 Radial Build Thread

I've read that with a hard-enough landing, it's possible to tweak the fuse and cause damage to the mounting system (usually starts to crack where the legs go through the fuse sides).

To prevent this, I took about 3 hours out of the build and stiffened this whole area up My goal, using lots of CF is to distribute the point lots into the shell, which is ultra-strong.

* On the inside of the fuse, I laminated some CF weave around the bottom and installed 3/8" diameter CF tubes to send the stresses to the shell.

* Inside the canister tunnel, I did the same thing and also installed a 3/8" CF tube that transfers load into the motorbox dome
