Re: fat shark

I think that equipment will serve you very well Keith!

Is this going on the Radian first? Be sure to check out the build threads on RCG for ideal placement of the components. Though there is plenty of room for personal choice on that.

Re: fat shark

Hi Scott
Yes it's going in the Radian first. I'm trying to figure out and get familiar with the wire connections here lol.

Re: fat shark

Just wondering if there is something im missing?
I bought the attitude fat shark bundle, comes with a cmos camera. It works fine, but i also upgraded to the ccd wdr 770. I cant seem to get this camera to work?

Is there something i need to configure in the set up menu osd? Thanks in advance. Keith

Re: fat shark

That cam is 12V like most FPV cams (but not all and not ImmersionRC cams which are 5V. and then micro cams often run on 3-5V)

You just need to tap into your 3S battery pack lines to power the cam. OR you can put in a step-up regulator. ImmersionRC makes one just for this issue you are having. Or you can buy some other regulator - but not all regulators are the same and appropriate for fpv.

bypass to your main pack. But you can make one of these DIY in 10 minutes.

OR

step up regulator

OR

the ultimate vTx regulator unit which is selectablke 5v/12v, and has microphone and mic level pot:
