A while back I read about Bob Smith Epoxy going bad, Well when that happened I just heated it in hot water and it worked. This was with all epoxy regardless of trade name .But I ordered an order less than two weeks ago, placed it on the shelf in a basement hobby room and in both the five minute and the thirty minute epoxy the resin has started to crystalize so I am thinking he is selling old stock from his business or they have removed a chemical inhibitor to stop the crystalizing.

Re: Bob Smith epoxys

Here's is that "not all that old" thread.....
https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=223201......
..... given that your purchase is very recent, it seems like your supplier is selling very old stock... and you may want to return the stock/let the supplier know ......although warming the stuff in water (prior to mixing the resin and hardener parts) makes the epoxy usable I would still do a test glue up before using on a model....

thanks for the update

Michael

Re: Bob Smith epoxys

YEP already let supplier know, not the little boy helper, the mister big himself. I thought no use complaining to #0 go #1.
