Where did the paint DVD thread go?

Jason,
I posted a thread asking how many people would be interested in an instructional DVD about painting airplanes, it had a large response, I asked for pre-orders but with no money in order to get an idea of numbers, and now the thread appears to be gone, did it get removed, if so why and why didn't I get a PM to notify me?

Re: Where did the paint DVD thread go?

Shouldn't have been, it was a question being asked about how many would be interested and then a simple no money asked for pre-order so that we would have some idea of numbers to see if it was worth doing an actual production or not.

Didn't think so either but there may be a difference between selling one dvd of say, a sim vs selling 40-50 of the same item? Don't know, just speculating here. Can only wait and see if/when Jason responds.

It seemed a good idea at the time.

Well, like I say, I wasn't selling anything at the moment, I was looking to see what kind of interest there was....... If it was deleted it because it was seen as commecial then so be it, but notification as to why would have been nice.

As long as Jason gets his cut...I suspect...
Could be wrong.
I find you get better responses from the free for sale listings than a campain...Ive done both and had a better response selling in the free classified section.

Why would you post this question? Not just pm Jason and ask him the question as only he can answer it, all the others will be just speculating?
