Hello all.

Since a couple of month, i search for a Sig Kadet senior ARF but it s impossible to find.
I know, i can buy directly a kit but the size of the wing and fuselage don t seen the same...
I don t know why Sig don t update the Kadet Senior with the same size and aileron because this is a really good plane.

if somebody can help me for the wing , exemple if they have the exactly same shape and what is the difference for the fuselage...

i will buy a kit and modified
thx

Re: anybody have infos about Sig ARF ?

I had a Kadet senior for years when I started out, and I have to disagree with hifly2104. There is almost no comparison between the LT40 and the "kit" Senior.

As far as I know, the arf version has barn-door ailerons and about half the dihedrial of the original kit version.

The ailerons would be an easy fix to delete (I would), but the extra dihedrial would be required for better performance with rudder only. I am not sure how the arf is, but it might or might not be a big job to increase the dihedrial to the wing.

Another nice touch would be to turn it into a taildragger if not too much work..

I agree with you drtdr, the LT40 and KadetSr are 2 different planes, the SR being a wonderful gentle flier for young kids and older gentlemen. It is also a great "relaxation" flier after flying more intense planes.

You COULD build one from scratch, which is what I have done 20+ years ago with this one:

I copied a friends original plans, then built the fuselage from doorskin (costs just pennies) and the wings are easy to build because it is the same rib profile throughout. I still fly it as a relaxation flier or to introduce newcomers to the hobby. It is fitted with LED lights for night flying as well
