Good time by all

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words and support, I'm pleased that everyone had a good time and to hear about some of the bargains you got.

Since the Swap Meet I've had a lot of good feed back and would like to thank all those who attended and helped out. That includes the buyers, the sellers, all the people who helped set up and tear down, and the members of the KWFD (Kitchener Waterloo Flying Dutchmen) who did all the work, for with out them it would not have been possible.

I must admit that I did have a concern that the heavy fog might have limited our turnout, but it appears it did not have any affect.

I think the most rewarding to me (besides the bargains! ) was watching the reunion of friends and pilots who haven't seen each other for a while and the meeting of people I have "met" here on RCC.

It was great to be able to organize something in the "non" flying season for everyone to come together and enjoy each other's company, it is a nice break in the winter routine.

Again, thanks again for coming out! Don't forget, indoor flying at RIM on Friday 1 to 4.

I'm leaving for vacation on Thursday evening for a couple of weeks, so I won't be "here" for a while - I hope I don't have RCC withdrawal !

Fly4Fun,

Wayne Miller,
Pres. KWFD
