Winter project progress

Ok, so how are the winter projects progressing?

As always, my progress is slower than hoped. Illness over the holidays chopped into building time.

On a positive note, I did manage to finish recovering my Ultimate and get the servos installed.

Up next;

Table 1: 1/5 Waco YMF wings: fuselage and tail complete and covered

Table 2: 1/4 Beech Staggerwing: plans almost complete

Table 3: TSK Mystar 60: all parts received, awaiting assembly

Table 5: PT-19: all parts in: electronics to be installed

Table 6: Marutaki Pitts-S2S: fuselage partially framed

Table 7: 1/4 Tigermoth: aileron linkage re-design and new fuel system

and a few others (like a Nieuport 21) waiting for a free table.

Progress:

1. Avistar rebuild for my daughter (new club member this year): Wing re-built AND glassed at the joint. Fuse rebuilt with re-enforcement on front end. Waiting to be covered this week; time permitting. (Top Priority right now)

2. Pete N Poke : Tail section complete, work to start on wing sections shortly. All parts in house

3. Honey Pot Bipe: First scratch build from a plan from a British mag. All parts will be in house by this weekend

4. Revolution II: This was the plane covered in MAAC magazine about 2 issues ago; looks like a Spacewalker II. All parts in house

5. Goldberg Sukhoi: Got the cowl, bellypan, electronics, covering, engine (though I just upgraded so the new engine will be in shortly) Basically everything but the darn plane; expected in Feb.

6. Mods to Eagle II to hold video camera by a different method.

7. Re-build of a 4 Star: Wing completed, fuse cut out, awaiting re-assembly

8. Combat planes ... ongoing

Bob

Don't mention basements... I'm in the middle of a major renovation... the biggest impediment to aircraft workshop time.

Just got my CA order in so now I can continue on with my ultimate.

I'm designing a fun fly plan so I'll be building that one before summer.

Hey Nuker, you still on that pete 'n poke?

I don't have as many projects as you guys have but I still have my basement to work on.

At least you're at the drywall stage. I'm still at the pulling down walls/ceiling, rerouting wiring and ducts stage.

True, The end is near. 1/3 basement has bin sanded and 1st coat of primmer done.

Working like a mad man so I can get on to more fun projects.

My goal for this winter is to have the whole basement primed and painted by spring.

Next winter is cealings and floors.[/quote]

Winter Plane Project.

I've almost started. Time off over Christmas was spend rebuilding home computer system. Now work is as busy as before Christmas. Hope to start soon or spring will be here and nothing will be done.

Goal is to fix Extra 300, fix Avistar and finish 4*60 Finally and finally get to the electric and 540 sledge. Corsair put off another year.
