Hi Andrew
I'm very happy to hear that Nick liked it, last time I flew mine in the basement, I had to replace a couple light bulbs, he must be really good.
We had a great time at the gym, once again, the glue flowed easily and the boys kept on flying. There were about 20 of us at the gym and at one time I counted 7 airplanes in the air, it didn't last very long before a couple midairs brought the numbers back down to a reasonable 5 foamies.
I'll ask John Pearson to send you the unedited version of his video today and we'll anxiously wait for you to post it.....no pressure

Talk to you soon

Thumbs up Re: Blue Foamie

This last weekend saw the Timmins club putting on their own "seminar", building 6 300's 1 CLICK, one BUG. Two of those aircraft were built by juniors. Our club has come a long way but we still have a ways to go to catch up to the enthusiasm shown by some of the other clubs, but we are working on it. This is the most winter flying our club has ever done, and it's getting better with time. Special thanks to Mark Orr for spearheading this building effort. On the Sunday late afternoon (6:30PM) the two junior members were the only ones left still building, and they didn't want to go home. Asking if this is enjoyment is like asking if the Pope is Catholic. Just a note to tell you all we are progressing

Re: Blue Foamie

Rolly, I will be up but it wont be for a couple weeks at least... I'm sure the weather will still be cold enough up there to go for a flight or 600. For now I'll have to settle for hovering in the basement. A buddy down here just got back from Penn State and brought 50 sheets of blue foam with him and our newest shippment from hobby city is in so I'll be busy building all week!

Gas, I'm having trouble getting the fr5 tubing, its like the only thing I dont have now!!!! I checked the pharmacies down here dont stock it. Any idea's? I'm going to try a medical supply store tomorrow!

If I get any time I'll get that video up!

Hi Andrew

A medical supply store would have it, I'm pretty sure. It's actually made in Oakville by a company called Benlan Inc. and the name brand is MED-RX, it's an intra veinous feeding tube, the reorder no. is 54-5015 and the description is 5FR x 15" Feeding tube, that should help.

Grant

The charger is ordered and as for warranty, ask Rolly or give me 5 bucks and you get a new sheet of foam.
