So I picked up a s-maxx used runs pretty good. I was wondering what others thought of this truck and what's the difference between that and a t-maxx, mine is converted for 4WD so it basically is a t-maxx no? Also quality wise, I'll admit I give it a beeting I'm always at a bmx park or something bashing and I havnt been out once and not had to go hone and fix it. I'd like to get into racing, I'm working on upgrading to some stronger parts. What are some basic mods to be racing a truck like this?

RPM arms...The Maxx trucks are notorious for weak arms and bulk heads, this will help for both problems. To be honest though if you are looking to race you might want to get in to a buggy or truggy. There's not a whole lot of Monster Truck racing any more.
