im trying to put the clutch assembly on my OS v-spec, its going fine, but the only problem im having is that it doesnt turn over by hand, it moves half way on each side back and forth. so i took the glow plug out and it turns over pretty good, but i can feel like grinding and binding in the bottom, im thinking its the bearing also feels like theres no compression? can anybody help me out thanx!

one of your bearings is gone... hopefully it hasn't done any other damage... either way i would send the motor into os and while your at it order the boca bearing set for the engine and when the engine comes back from os put the boca bearings in it and you'll be set...

Your right. I've heard of many of these bearing problems. On the grid there are pages and pages about this problem. If you get the BOCA Bearings front and rear the problem will be solved. The other problem with them is the soft crank pin. Recab is hardening the crank pin and crank. Sorry if it sounds to negative. Hope it helps. You can get it directly from Boca or order through your lhs.
