My friend bought this electric sailplane used, and we are trying to figure out what exactly it is.

We would like to find a manual on it, as we are having some weight/power issues.

It has a 66" wingspan with 't-tail'. Fuselage is 35". Currently running a Great Planes C-20 ESC, and have not dug the motor out as of yet.

I hope someone out there recognizes this, as my neighbor is really excited about flying it, and want to get him out with it before the big snow hits!!

Thanks.

Re: Does anyone know what plane this is?

Close, I got excited for a bit, but the wingspan is to wide, and is brushless.

The wingtips are "square" on this one compared to the Cermark Breeze.

This has given me the inclination to identify my planes as well, so that if sold, the buyer will know exactly which model it is.

Re: Does anyone know what plane this is?

Looks like yours has rubber bands holding the wings on also...the Breeze is bolt-on.

Re: Does anyone know what plane this is?

I was told that this may be a graupner plane. I can not find anything on the internet about it though.

Re: Does anyone know what plane this is?

It could be Graupner or Robbe, I have a glider from the same era and I know the name and make and there is absolutely no info on the net on it. These were before the rc groups Internet explosion so not much is out there. But my guess is it was not originally brushless but came with speed 400 or 600 class brushed motor so what ever is in there is not original. Brushed motors were standard in gliders, even 5 years ago and in some European models still are. I think you will have to fly this one by the seat of your pants and guess at most settings. How heavy is it and what is your actual problem with it?
