Difference between P51d and P51b

He's making P51b short kits, I should have mine today if I can find Bent.

P51b has a ribbed cockpit, d has the plexi dome.

I'm outfitting mine as a P51c, I think. Maybe Parker 51 ( http://www.inkblotters.com/mustang/mustang.htm ), or Macon Belle

Hey Deadeye............it's good to see that you are back in the game and hopefully you're over that terrible occurrence of last year. Sounds like you are gearing up for the new season. I hope you got those SE - 5 bits and pieces I sent back with the guys. I have decided to skip the combat flying for next year and return to my sport planes. I have a ducted fan plane that I want to get going. We have acquired a summer place and most of my weekends will be filled next summer. I am not quite as keen as some of you London area guys and the travel to events is not what I want for now. I'll probably be back however since it is so much fun. Anyways..........Best regards for a Happy New Year to you and all the other whacky combat fliers. Bob .....
