Helene and I are planning to move to Drayton Valley, which has a flying club, and the home we are looking at has lots of area to fly electrics..

no more packing up everything in the truck and driving to a sutable spot, it has a basement access door right from my soon to be workshop/hangar to the back yard/airstrip..lol

I have flown in parks, off back country roads, in the arena parking lot when no one was there, off the river when it's frozen, and I might try some float flying off the river in the summer.

That being said, that's all with my small electrics on 3s. I'm fortunate enough to be within 20 minutes of three clubs, and belong to two of them, so I've got it pretty good. I obviously only take my big gasser and medium sized electric to the club fields. I would fly the 5s Yak off a back country road if I didn't have a club to go to, though.
