Oops, I meant Duratrax not Traxxas.. I always seem to mix those two up. I saw the batteries in RC Driver mag but couldn't find anything on their site. I know this is ghetto but I don't have a scanner so here's a pic from the magazine... LOL!

that wont work in a pede u need a 7 cell stick pack with a hump

ya i prob instead of gettin a motor, i will upgrade my batts. i want to go 7cell but i dont want to spend like 100$. can someone show me a link to the site that sells them. -Wes

check out tenergy cells on ebay they make some cheap sub-c packs with high drain rate

u can either buy prebuilt or build the packs yourself

If i remember correctly the xl5 can take 8 cells check the traxxas forums for that info

I personally run 7 and its great lots of wheel spinning torque without to much extra weight

im getting the IB4200 battery too. still havent recieved it yet though. and btw, 15T 540 = 12T 550. 540 is better than a 550.
